![]() ![]() With this one above I simply changed the background of the inner circle to a grey colour scheme. This logo wasn’t to hard to create using Adobe Illustrator, I simply created around 4 different grid layers to line up different components like the type aspects and the lines.ĭuring my sketching I straight away knew that I wanted to using a script style typeface for the main “Lookbook” title but for the other pieces of text I wanted to use something along the lines of Ariel or Helvetica but these just didn’t look right at all, they didn’t go with the design.Īfter I created the basic logo I started to think about different colour schemes and alteration to the design, a lot of these alterations will be dependent on the photo style inside the lookbook. ![]() Tagged adobe, adobe illustrator, advertising, apps, Art, arts, business, College, Colours, Design, Graphic Design, graphics, history of typography, illustration, Illustrations, illustrator, Personal, Photography, postcards, Poster, Research, school, typographic, typography, Uni, workĪfter sketching up some initial designs for a lookbook logo I decided to develop 1 and see were it takes me, obviously I experimented a little bit with a couple of different aspects of the design. Off the tope of my head the main topics for the images will be things like tattoo’s, music, fashion, cars, photography, a nice range that could make a very interesting LookBook. ![]() My main image collect points will be places like google and tumblr, but other source will probably be used. I have came to the realization of this and the fastly approaching deadline has made me have a think about what I can use for the image aspects of the design – My first thought was to use previous photo’s that I have taken and create a mis-matched portfolio almost but then I had the idea to just collect and use photo’s of things that Interest me in everyday life, things that get me moving and get me thinking… So basically my local area isn’t the best for photography and I’m currently unable to take long trip to collect photo’s because of work and other commitments. My next step for this project Is obviously to collect some images for me to use, these will need to be edited and sourced and then I can start with the final page designs using this one as a template… Tagged adobe, adobe illustrator, advertising, Art, arts, business, Colours, Design, Graphic Design, graphics, illustration, Illustrations, illustrator, Personal, Photography, Research, Text, type, typographic, typography, Uni, work I haven’t finished collecting all of my photo’s yet but they will all be posted on here and be ready to be inserted into my template for my design, While collecting my images and having a look at my logo that I made I have began thinking about adding a possible very subtle boarder around each photo, But I’ll wait and see.Īfter Creating my logo from my sketches in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop I decide it would be worth it for me to start creating my final designs, but obviously they can still be changed because there not final at the moment.Īs of now I have decided to make the design using a4 standard sided paper/card but because from the beginning I wanted the design layout to be square rather than a standard magazine size, so I created a new canvas created by the two lines on the image, I made this all using different grids to line everything up so It should all the working very well and cleanly together. My main idea In collecting all of these photo’s was just things that interest me and things that look cool to me, nothing more simple than that and with this In mind this LookBook will be truly just me. Just 2 screenshot from my Ipad of the app that I was using to make all of my collected photo’s black and white. On a real design for an actual client I would have to ask the people that own the photo’s that I am using but on this as long as I write down that all the photo’s are secondary source it should be fine… Since I decided that I wanted to use collected images from Tumblr I have been collecting some images and just simply editing them to suit my lookbook using my Ipad and an app called “Repix” ![]()
